We welcome your donation - no matter how small and all donations are used solely for the benefit of the Rescue Wires. We honor all specific requests, designations and memorial donations. If we solicit funding for a special needs Wire Fox Terrier and the collected amount is over and above the final medical bill, we request permission to use the donation for another Wire Fox Terrier or whether you wish it returned. We are a dedicated and honest Rescue whose passion is helping animals. We network with other Rescue groups and individuals to pull, save and transport dogs in need across the United States.

With today's economy and times, everyone is cautious with their funds and charitable alotment. Assurance that their donation is going to a good and reputable cause is very important. Fiscal responsibility is a key component in our Mission Statement - which can be viewed on the Home Page. A legitimate and responsible nonprofit Rescue organization will: File yearly tax returns and financial statements; Report ALL income received - including adoption fees, contributions, grants and fundraising amounts; Procure, disburse and Itemize all expenses, including veterinary services, procedures, medications and other rescue related expenses. There are organizations that are assistance based and only supply funds or grants to other individuals or other nonprofits who qualify under their guidelines. Many national clubs with members who solicit and only report contributions have limited structure on who and where these funds are distributed such as only catatrophic cases that the Board of Directors has voted on and approved to provide assistance. Many are organized under 501(c)(3) regulations which allows the public to view and request financial statements to determine where and on what their donations are utilized for. The public sector has many options to research if not sure whether to make a donation. www.guidestar.org is an excellent reference for nonprofit organizations.
